About the Presenter:

Dr. Bove, of Brattleboro, Vermont obtained her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Midwifery Certification from Bastyr College of Natural Medicine (1990). She also served as a full-time faculty member at Bastyr College, where she chaired the departments of Botanical Medicine and Naturopathic Midwifery.

Dr. Bove received a Diploma of Phytotherapy/ Herbal Medicine at the School of Phytotherapy in Great Britain (1987) and was awarded membership in the prestigious National Institute of Medicinal Herbalist, London, England (1988).

While serving as a full-time faculty member at Bastyr University, Dr. Bove chaired the departments of Botanical Medicine and Naturopathic Midwifery. During this time and continuing into the present, she has served as adjunct faculty for the Massachusetts School of Pharmacy and Scottish School of Herbal Medicine in the Masters level course.

The Encyclopedia of Natural Healing for Children and Infants, authored by Dr. Bove is considered an authoritative reference book on natural pediatric medicine. And, Co-authored by Dr. Bove, Herbs for Women’s Health and has been published in many magazines, journals and collaborative books on botanical and natural medicine. She lectures and teaches internationally on the topics of naturopathic medicine, botanical medicine, pediatrics, natural pregnancy, childbirth, traditional food medicine and mind-body healing.

Gaia Herbs® and Dr. Bove have collaborated together to develop an herbal remedy line designed specifically for children, and, she works as a medical consultant and educator in the natural product industry. Dr. Bove has recently produced an App for iPhone/iPad called Momma Nature’s Food Pharm Guide, a fun, informative guide to the use of common foods and herbs for health, prevention, and kitchen first aid.
